SDK 1.0.4 Released to Stage
by Matt Turner on October 27th, 2010
Calling all Userplane developers! We’ve just released a new SDK to stage. The new SDK release features:
- Improved response time for A/V.
- A custom actions menu in the message header.
- Message Filter plugin that allows publishers to intercept any message in your own JavaScript handler before execution of the typical message delivery flow (which would allow for (language translation–through your own implementation–or adding upsell flow for users, among other potential use cases).
To access our staging environment, just point your embed code to “http://static.stage.userplane.com/release/sdk/userplane.js” instead of “http://cache.static.userplane.com/release/sdk/userplane.js”, which is our production environment.
This SDK release also marks the beginning of an effort push to code on Wednesdays only, so as to give all our publishers a more dependable release “schedule.” On the Wednesday following a SDK release to stage (allowing you enough time to test), we will release the new SDK to production. And speaking of production, you can see the release notes for our current production version 1.0.3 by clicking here.
