We’re gearing up for a very exciting launch. We are just about ready to release Virtual Gifting as a new feature for Userplane publishers. We have partnered with Viximo to make this feature available.

This new feature brings many new possibilities to publishers. The new virtual gifting platform will enable users to send gifts to each other directly from within the Webmessenger3 experience. We are planning on having the virtual gifting experience available for Webchat3 publishers as well this year.

In addition to virtual gifting, we will also be launching a games section (also powered by Viximo) to Webmessenger3. Ever wanted to add poker or a farmville-like app to your site? Now you can! And you’ll see noticeably higher user engagement with these games, especially if they start inviting their friends to play the same game – directly on your site!

While we’ve been busy working on the new virtual gifting platform, we’ve also made some big improvements to the Audio/Video component. The new Webmessenger3 will sport a highly enhanced AV widget that will let you stream better audio and video than ever before. We’ve gone so far to include a window so that you can see what you look like too!

The demo section is not yet updated with the new apps, but will be very soon. So keep an eye out for a blog post about when the demo is ready with all the new apps.
