Userplaners!
We wish you all a festive December. Here at Userplane we are adjusting to
the new winter climate of LA where our highs went from a brisk 70 degrees
down to a chilly 65 in the last week! Luckily our new office has heat, so we
will all survive...
We had a few big releases this month! Shane, Michele, Robert and Gabe
finished and launched our Desktop Presence application. This enhancement to
the new Userplane Presence system now allows all communities using Presence
to have a white-label desktop application that can alert users on customized
events of their choosing. One of our big clients has already seen great success with
this application and now alerts their users daily on network activity,
incoming emails, and instant messages. We see this application as a big
feature for our Integrated clients to generate a stronger and more
persistent site-user connection.
In addition our Instant-Install and Integrated Webmessenger users can now
utilize our new Userplane Games feature. In the next week, we will be
sending out additional XML information for our Integrated users to enable
free games within the Webmessenger - which we feel will substantially
enhance the user experience of Userplane Apps.
